SAMPLE ANSWER
Although I have been learning English for a long time, I haven’t had many chances to practice speaking English with native speakers. To the best of my recollection, the first time I used it was on Christmas Eve three years ago and there was a big celebration like a carnival in my city. At that time, I was hanging out with my friends there. Suddenly, a foreigner came up to me and asked for directions to a supermarket. Honestly, he spoke too quickly for me to catch everything. But after he repeated his words, I finally understood and showed him the way to the nearest supermarket. I used body language a lot to explain the directions to him, since I didn’t speak English well then. After that, he said “Thank you” to me and headed for the supermarket. I was a bit embarrassed at that time, though I soon realised that English plays an important role in our life, despite the fact that we don’t live in English-speaking countries. It is spoken globally and it’s becoming the dominant language. Therefore, I have been trying to practice speaking English daily so that I can have a good command of this language, and I can talk confidently with foreigners, whatever the topic of conversation is.

Well, to talk about my first day in school, it's very hard to memorize about my primary school though, to the best of my recollection, I remember the very first day of my school when I got admission in St. Xavier School in class 6th. It was farther from my previous primary school besides, in the same city. My father registered me for the bus service from the school. Ahh, I was promoted to secondary classes and felt like a big boy. Everything was new and fresh. When I entered the class, our class teacher introduced me and a few others too, to the rest of class. I felt like I was among the guests of honour. Many students passed welcoming gestures while a few smirked. I was sitting next to a boy, named Karan and we became best buddies on that day and still are. Every teacher who came to different lectures took my introduction and soon I became bored of repeating the same things. I also made a few more friends, shared lunch, stationery, got to know more about my classmates and what not. The best thing happened in the sport's lecture when our coach Mr. Kewin selected me for the basketball team. I was feeling at the top of the world as I have achieved every desired thing and nothing left . That day is noted as the best of my memories due to this thing only.

SAMPLE ANSWER
Well, many a times, I set goals, for myself and did my best to achieve it. While there are so many things that I did in such a way, I believe the most difficult one was when I gave myself a target to lose 20 pounds of weight in just a span of 2 months. Whenever I go to my home country, India, I eat a lot, especially my favourite scrumptious meals. I love delicious home-cooked food made by my mother. We as Indians are known to be the foodies. After coming back from India last year, when I weighed myself, I was dumbstruck to know that I have gained 20 extra pounds. Though it was common for me to gain a few pounds whenever I visited my home country, this time it was different, I had really become fat. Therefore, I challenged myself to lose that extra weight in two months. It was a tough row to hoe. I started taking diet-controlled meals along with heavy exercising for 1 hour regularly. Further, I included more fruits and vegetables in my meals and reduced my carbohydrate intakes. I also stopped consuming processed sugar. All these helped me to achieve my goals of losing 20 pounds. It was really hard to control therefore I limited this routine to five days a week and kept Sunday as a cheat day. After such a strenuous workout and putting limitations on myself, I was able to achieve it. As a consequence, I have not only shredded extra weight but my body shape-up boosted my confidence and I became less lethargic. It improved my energy levels as well as my social life. I have also noted that losing weight has improved my sleep patterns and I never felt drowsy or enervated afterwards. My stress levels decreased and mood swings were gone. Not only losing weight helped me to fulfill my challenge but also gave me a healthy lifestyle and eating habits.
